The library is open to researchers by appointment and open to the general public for specific events.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5:30pm. Closed on public holidays.

In accordance with government directives and in order to guarantee optimal protection during your visit, the Victor Hugo House in Paris has put in place sanitary measures and new reception arrangements. Weekends: Guided tours of the library's collections are organised around different themes on various dates throughout the year. Please check the museum's programme of events for the latest information. The museum library is currently adapting its equipment for people with a visual impairment and is expanding its collection of large-print books.
